Jarkko Nieminen Announces the opening of Jarkko Nieminen Tennis Academy

Helsinki - Jarkko Nieminen announced today in press conference at Tali Tennis Centre the launching of Jarkko Nieminen Tennis Academy (JNTA). JNTA is a non-profit organization and it will be the high performance centre for all tennis players in the northern European region who are trying to achieve international success in their tennis careers.

JNTA will be based in Tali Tennis Centre in Helsinki and employ a great group of people committed to this project that Jarkko has personally selected to bring into this project great knowledge and international experience. Tali Tennis Centre is one of the biggest indoor tennis centre in Europe and already the base for most of the top level junior and professional in Finland.

Veli Paloheimo, the only other top-50 male tennis player from Finland, is also one of the funders of the academy and will assist JNTA with his extensive experience at tour level. JNTA will be headed by Federico Ricci, already director at the Evert Tennis Academy in Florida and coach of several top juniors and professionals and some top ranked Finnish players. Jarmo Ahonen, currently Nieminen's physical trainer and one of the most respect trainers in the field, will be in charge of JNTA player's physical training. Olli Leppänen and Saku Siivonen, already member of the HVS Team (a top level club in Finland), will support operations of JNTA with their coaching skills.

Wilson, Nieminen's current main sponsor, will partner with the academy to provide top level equipments to coaches and players. Obviously, also NSM will be part of this project and will assist all JNTA players with professional athlete management when the time is appropriate.

Jarkko Nieminen was extremely excited about the academy beginning its operations in the summer and wants to thank all the sponsors of JNTA that made this possible.
