Jarkko Nieminen receives the award as "Best Athlete in Varsinais-Suomi" for the 9th time

Turku, December 2012 - Jarkko Nieminen was nominated "Best Athlete of the year" in Varsinais-Suomi.

This is the 9th time that Jarkko won this award, an achievement that no other athlete has ever reached. Jarkko previously won this award also in 2002, '03, '05, '06, '07, '08, '10 and '11.

In many years of hard work and professional career, Jarkko brought the popularity of tennis in Finland to very high levels. This award for 2012 is a further appreciation of Jarkko's long standing accomplishments in his tennis career.
